• Travel SIM cards: the best alternative for the traveler. Travel SIM-card: what do they eat with, and is it worth it to eat Sim for roaming

When choosing a SIM card for travel, it is important to find the option that is best for you. Choosing the right operator depends on several factors. To begin with, let's decide what is more important: voice communication or access to the Internet? If access to the Internet is important, then it is necessary to take into account the amount of traffic.

Which SIM card to choose for trips to Europe?

Consider the three most popular options:

    • go on a trip with your Russian SIM card;
    • purchase a local mobile operator card;
    • buy a tourist sim card in advance.

If you plan to take your Russian SIM card with you, it is better to study the tariffs for international roaming in advance. If the cost of calls can still be reduced using various options (about 15 rubles per minute outgoing within Europe), then the situation with the Internet in roaming is deplorable: 5 rubles per 1 Mb with a daily limit of 200 Mb is the most advantageous offer that the operators of the "big three".

You can also buy a SIM card from a local mobile operator on the spot. In this case, it makes sense to study this issue in advance and decide which card of which operator and with which tariff plan you will purchase. This option is not very convenient for auto travelers who pass through several European countries: it is inconvenient to buy a card for each country and the rest of the funds on the balance of the number will always be lost, “eating up” all the savings from favorable local rates.

Well, the last, quite convenient option: buy a tourist SIM card. Consider several options that are often used by fans of traveling around Europe:

    Orange with Mundo fare

First of all, those who need the Internet should pay attention to this SIM card. She fits perfectly for navigation, communication in social. networks, email checks. As a rule, this card is chosen for tours, holidays and occasional business trips to Europe. In this case, the Internet costs per day will not exceed 35 rubles (100 Mb for 0.5 euros), which means that they will not require large communication costs from the subscriber.

For many users, the Orange SIM card is convenient because it wi-fi distribution possible to other devices: you can buy 1 card and give access to the network to any number of devices.

Voice communication is not a priority for Orange: the cost of an outgoing call is 0.08 €/min. At the same time, outgoing calls can only be made to local numbers, and incoming calls can be received from any country, including Russia. SMS to Russian numbers: 1.21 €.

The Orange card is the perfect option for those who are going to Spain. For this operator, Spain is the home region, therefore, upon activation, the subscriber automatically receives a bonus Internet package of 1 or 2 GB for 1 month as a gift. Given the volume of the package, a tourist can easily call from Skype, WhatsApp, Viber. Thus, voice communication is not used at all, and only the Internet gift package is spent. During the first trip, there is often a situation when, due to this bonus package, the subscriber returns with exactly the same balance with which he left.

    • outgoing calls to Russia to mobile numbers 0.29 €/min;
    • outgoing calls to Russia to landline numbers 0.069 €/min;
    • The ability to distribute the Internet to other devices (including use in a router);
    • Also, when buying, 1 GB of free internet in Spain is given;
    • All EU countries.

    Three

Activation of the 12GB package occurs automatically when the card goes online in any of the countries where the tariff is valid. The card is only compatible with 3G and 4G smartphones, tablets or modems.

The Smart Passport option does not involve wi-fi distribution, therefore it is only suitable for personal use. When you try to distribute, you will be automatically redirected to the operator's service page.

The card can be used in roaming for a maximum of 30 days. The card is not rechargeable and when the traffic is exhausted or at the end of the validity period, it ceases to be active.

SIM card from Three perfect for those planning a trip to the UK. In the UK for €54 you get 30 GB internet + 3000 minutes of calls to local numbers!

    globalsim

Estonian SIM card Globalsim no subscription fee, while all more or less profitable roaming options of Russian operators have a monthly fee from 39 to 95 rubles per day.

    Main advantages:

    • Well suited for a wide geography of trips (very large coverage area);
    • Convenient when used within the network: leave one card at home, take the second one with you and call at a fixed price from any country (incoming 0, outgoing 0.25$/min.);
    • calls from the EU to Russia to landline numbers $0.05/min;
    • calls from the EU to Russia to mobile numbers $0.29/min;

In this case, the Ortel card is purchased with you to Europe and the Globalsim card is left at home (it is connected via the Russian Federation).

    Globalsim New

Separately, it is worth highlighting a SIM card for Europe and Turkey - Globalsim New.

Connect the “Europe Data” Internet option and use mobile Internet without restrictions for the price of 1 cent ($0.01) per 1 Mb.

Outgoing calls from Europe to Russia - 0.39$/min or 0.49$/min depending on the host country.

Favorable Internet package for Turkey - 5 GB for $29.

When choosing the right fare for traveling abroad, a tourist faces a number of difficulties, but they can be avoided if you answer all the important questions and clearly define what you need. Before you place an order, you should decide:

    • How many countries do you plan to visit in the near future.
    • Are you going to explore European countries or do not exclude visiting the USA, Asian countries, Israel and other more distant destinations.
    • What services do you plan to use (voice for making calls, the Internet, or is it important for you to have both).
    • What is the purpose of the trip: a business visit, study or tourism.
    • How long will the stay in the country be?
    • Is it important for you on a trip to have Internet distribution.

Today, a number of interesting and profitable offers from Orange, Vodafone, as well as GlobalSim, Ortel Mobile, THREE operators have appeared on the cellular services market, which we will discuss in more detail in our review. After all, each of the offers has its own advantages, and most importantly, it will help save on expensive roaming abroad.

Orange - updated Mundo tariff for European countries, instead of Go Europe tariff

The Orange SIM card with the new Mundo tariff offer for Europe is a good option for those tourists who need stable, high-speed Internet while traveling. The quality of the traffic provided allows you to quickly find the necessary data on the Web, communicate on social networks, use modern messengers for communication, send work letters by mail, etc. In addition, after changes in tariff plans, Orange's offer has become even more profitable. Now the subscriber can purchase more traffic at the best price:

    • Mundo Esencial - 3 GB for 7 €
    • Mundo Plus - 7 GB for 10 €
    • Mundo Total - 10 GB for 15 €

At the same time, the period of use of any of the packages is 4 weeks. At the moment, there is a profitable promotion - by connecting before 03/30/2019, the subscriber will receive an increased package. That is, by ordering Mundo Plus and paying 10 euros, the user will receive 7 GB for 28 days for the same money. All packets are reconnected. There is the possibility of distributing the Internet, therefore, by purchasing one SIM card, the subscriber will be able to open access to the Network to an unlimited number of devices.

With the Mundo tariff, you can travel all over Europe, the coverage area is 41 states. By choosing Orange, the tourist will not have to worry that he will run out of Internet or calls in the host country will be too expensive. The operator offers:

    • Incoming calls within the EU and Spain are free of charge. Calls from Russian numbers are also accepted without payment.
    • Outgoing calls in Spain - 7 cents per minute to a landline and 29 cents to a mobile phone.
    • Outgoing calls in Europe - 8 cents per minute.
    • SMS to Russian numbers - 73 cents.

The cost of the connection when making outgoing calls is also removed - 30 cents.

If you often use the Internet while traveling abroad, the Mundo tariff is a good choice.

There is also the Everywhere option - Mobile Internet at a price of 7 euros for every 100 MB of traffic. Coverage: Switzerland, USA, Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Chile, Morocco, China and Japan.

Favorable tariffs from Vodafone mobile operator

A SIM card from the Vodafone operator is one of the most popular among travelers, because with its help you can freely communicate, use inexpensive Internet. This is the best option for business trips in which you need to negotiate in the host country and often call home. By activating one of the tariffs, the subscriber will be able not only to use the Internet in Europe and other countries included in the coverage area, but also to call to different countries, including Russia, without spending much of his budget. Let's talk a little more about all the offers of the operator.

    • The Vodafone 19 tariff is connected by default, the subscriber can switch to another plan if he wishes. Under Vodafone's terms, 19 people will be able to receive EU calls free of charge. A minute of an outgoing call is 20 cents and 20 cents is the connection cost. This offer will also help to solve all work issues, even if the tourist is abroad. You can use 1 GB of Internet per day, the cost is 6 euros. It is also worth noting that a subscription fee of 49 cents is charged weekly for using the tariff plan.
    • Tariff plan "Vodafone 25" as well as "Vodafone 19" works in the EU countries. By connecting this offer, the subscriber will be able to call to Russia and other countries for 25 cents per minute or receive incoming calls for free. There is no subscription fee in this tariff, the cost of 1 GB is 6 euros.

Distribution of the Internet and in the first tariff, and in the second - is allowed.

In addition, Vodafone recently updated and launched additional very profitable options:

    • Vodafone Start- the cost is 10 euros, the term of work is 4 weeks, relevant in the EU countries. The subscriber is provided with 100 megabytes of 4G Internet. You can also send 100 SMS per month and talk for 400 minutes (outgoing), incoming calls do not need to be paid.
    • Vodafone Digital– package price for a month – 15 euros. By paying this amount, the subscriber will receive 2 GB of high-speed 4G Internet, as well as 400 minutes for calls in EU countries and free incoming calls.
    • By adding only three euros per month, you can get even more traffic with the option Vodafone Super. The cost of this package is 18 euros. After payment, the owner of the SIM card will receive 3 GB at maximum speed, as well as 400 minutes for making calls and unlimited incoming calls.
    • The changes also affected another operator's tariff. Now Smart Passport relevant for travelers who plan to visit San Marino, Switzerland, Monaco, Turkey, Albania. The package of services (both calls and mobile traffic are included) is provided for a day, the price is 3 euros. You can't share the Internet. The daily service package includes: 30 minutes for calls (both incoming and outgoing to EU numbers) and 200 MB of mobile internet, as well as 60 messages to send.

With a SIM card from Vodafone, you can easily make tourist and business trips to Europe, Albania, Switzerland, San Marino, Monaco or Turkey, without worrying about the cost of roaming services.

Ortel Mobile with new rates for Europe

The new rates from Ortel Mobile are beneficial for those who often travel abroad for business trips, and they need to not only make calls, but also access the Internet every day. The German company offers several inexpensive and, in our opinion, really profitable options for Europe:

    • INTERNET FLAT 2 GB - for 9.90 €, as well as the ability to re-order the same amount of traffic for 6 euros.
    • INTERNET FLAT 3.5 GB - for 14.90 € is one of the most popular packages among subscribers. Ordering additional traffic - 9 euros.
    • INTERNET FLAT 5.5 GB - for 19.90 €, if 5 GB of high-speed Internet is not enough for a month, the client can buy the same amount for 15 euros.
    • INTERNET FLAT 11 GB - for 29.99 €, at the end of the Internet, additional traffic can be ordered for 25 euros.

All offered packages allow you to receive free incoming calls, call to Russia at a price of 99 cents per minute of outgoing calls. Each offer is valid for 4 weeks.

To make profitable calls from Germany to 50 other countries, as well as to use inexpensive traffic abroad, we recommend connecting the tariff from Ortel - Internet + WORLD calls. This tariff is suitable for frequent tourist trips and business trips abroad. On all WORLD tariffs, the On-Net Flat function is available, which provides unlimited calls in the Telephony network, but it is relevant only for Germany.

International operator THREE - affordable Internet in Australia, Israel, Hong Kong and other countries

The offer from the THREE operator will be very relevant for those who travel a lot around the world not only for tourist visits, but also for work. Moreover, the geography of trips is not limited only to European countries. The SIM card is designed for an active Internet user, for whom the availability of voice services is not so important, but the amount of traffic is worrying.

If you need an Internet package with almost no restrictions (the volume is quite enough for conducting correspondence at work, watching short videos, communicating on social networks and through popular instant messengers, and for many other user purposes), then choose a THREE SIM card. The cost of 12 GB of high-speed Internet for a month is 48 euros. The SIM card is completely ready for work and functions not only in Europe, but also in Australia, Indonesia, the States, Hong Kong, Israel.

How to choose the best fare for traveling abroad: recommendations

For many travelers who travel abroad several times a year, a logical question arises - which SIM card will be the most profitable and optimal for travel? In this case, you need to focus more on which services are more important, which ones will be used more often and how many of them you need. For example, for very active Internet users who are not particularly interested in voice services, we would recommend a SIM card from the THREE mobile operator. Still, 12 GB of Internet for a month is enough for daily surfing the Web.

For those tourists who need Internet in Europe, as well as calls to EU countries and Spain, we recommend the Mundo tariff from the Orange operator.

If you need calls to Russia, cheap Internet in different countries of the world and a large coverage area (including exotic countries, as well as the USA), then GlobalSim is the best option.

For communication with relatives from the EU or Russia, Ortel Mobile offers are also great. The operator offers inexpensive internet packages and affordable call rates.

Vodafone also pleases with affordable offers for Europe (1 GB of Internet with the possibility of distribution to other devices for 6 euros). Also, the prices for calls are loyal - from 20 to 25 cents per minute (only incoming calls are paid). The only exception is the Smart Passport tariff (distribution of traffic is prohibited). However, by enabling this option, the tourist will be able to be in touch in Monaco, Turkey, Switzerland, San Marino and Albania.

But, of course, only you should make the choice, so study the tariffs in detail and buy a profitable SIM card, thanks to which you will always have the opportunity to find out useful information and make a call.

Tariffs for communication in roaming significantly exceed the usual costs for calls and mobile Internet, it can be inconvenient to monitor traffic and limit yourself. I would like to easily update the Facebook feed, respond in messengers, upload photos to Instagram, respond to letters and SMS. SIM cards bought in the country of destination are not always suitable for this: it takes time to purchase and activate a card, and calls to Russia are still expensive. The Village talks about SIM cards and tariffs that are beneficial for travelers.

    "Drimsim"

The Drimsim SIM card is valid in 197 countries. It is not tied to one operator and connects to the local network, while the number always remains the same. Billing by minute and by megabytes: for example, in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, 1 megabyte will cost 1 euro cent (70 kopecks), 1 gigabyte - 10.24 euros (730 rubles), a minute of a call to Russia - 25–30 euro cents ( 17–21 rubles). Tariffs in all countries can be found on the company's website.

A SIM card can be ordered in the same place, delivery will cost 10 euros (710 rubles). It will be delivered to Moscow within a day (self-pickup is also available here), to St. Petersburg - in two or three days, in other cities you will have to wait for a registered letter with delivery by Russian Post.

Initially, Drimsim has a zero balance, you can replenish it from a mobile application, it also helps to keep track of expenses. Drimsim has a referral program: if a new subscriber registers using the user's link and tops up their account with 10 euros (710 rubles), both will receive 5 euros. There is no subscription fee, but if you do not use the card for 365 days, 5 euro cents (3.5 rubles) will be charged monthly for the subsequent reservation of the number.

I found the Drimsim card on a traveler's blog, the conditions suited me. Didn't consider other options. I have been using my SIM card for a month, during this time I have been in two countries - Estonia and Cyprus. About 4 euros left the account: in Estonia I called and used the Internet, in Cyprus I only called. Simka is convenient in that it does not need to be switched from country to country. It is possible to receive bonus points on the account.

    Ekaterina Zastrogina

    university administration officer

I saw positive reviews about Drimsim several times in my friend's travel blog and decided to try it too. Bribed fast delivery and nice app interface. On my first trip to the UK, I had some communication problems, but everything was resolved pretty quickly with the help of a chat with technical support right in the application. For money - no more than 10 euros for two weeks of vacation. This is only the Internet (social networks, maps, Google search), it somehow didn’t reach SMS and calls.

    globalsim

This SIM card is issued by the Estonian operator TOP Connect. It operates in more than 200 countries (in most of them incoming calls will be free). Calls to Russian mobile numbers from most European countries cost 29 cents per minute, other calls - 29 cents, mobile Internet - 25 cents per megabyte. There are preferential packages of Internet and calls to Russia: for example, for $19 (1,096 rubles) per month you can get 1 gigabyte of traffic. All tariff options can be found on the SIM card website. The balance is replenished from the personal account. It is better to choose packages in advance so as not to get confused.

The cost of a card with a balance of 10 dollars (577 rubles) on the account starts from 750 rubles, the card can be ordered in the online store. For a beautiful room, they offer to pay extra from 300 to 1,500 rubles. There is no subscription fee for GlobalSim. The card does not expire if you make at least one call every two years. There is a round-the-clock Russian-speaking support service, however, only three minutes will be free, the subsequent ones will be charged as a call to an Estonian mobile number. Among the shortcomings: some users complain about the poor quality of communication.

    Vyacheslav Shevkunov

    service center engineer

This is the most profitable option for Europe. Especially if you often cross borders within the EU. I use GlobalSim for the Internet, calls now, in my opinion, are not needed by anyone. There is also a service that the operator does not advertise: you pay $10 once a year and you get a rate of 1 cent per megabyte throughout the European Union. Considering that you do not need to buy a new SIM card every time and connect Internet packages for an unnecessary number of gigabytes and minutes, it turns out to be very profitable. For example, for Spanish operators, 1 gigabyte costs 7–10 euros (500–700 rubles), while the operator will definitely impose additional services. Here everything is clear. You can’t go negative, the balance is replenished from the card on the site. And through referral links you can get the SIM card itself almost for free.

    Mikhail Shashin

    traveler

When I went to Spain, I needed an operator that would be beneficial for this particular country. Of the SIM cards that can be bought in Russia, two were the leaders for me - Orange and GlobalSim. I chose the latter because of their cheap calls to Russian landlines and mobiles and a relatively inexpensive internet package (1 gigabyte for $20). For two weeks, it takes me about $10 (577 rubles) for calls and $20 (1,153 rubles) for the Internet, if I connect it.

    Orange Mundo

Prior to the abolition of roaming in Europe, the tariff of the Spanish operator Orange, suitable for travelers, was called Go Europe. In most countries, it has a single cost - 50 euro cents (36 rubles) per 100 megabytes. In Russia, they offer to buy a SIM card on different sites: it costs 745 rubles, and together with a balance of 10 euros (710 rubles) and a connected Internet package, the cost will increase to 2,160 rubles.

The SIM card is valid in 41 European countries (does not work in Switzerland, Monaco, northern Cyprus), most of them have a 4G connection. According to the promotion, which will end soon, an Internet package with traffic up to 2 gigabytes for a month costs 7 euros (498 rubles), up to 4 gigabytes - 10 euros (710 rubles), up to 6 gigabytes - 15 euros (1,068 rubles). If the limit is exceeded, packages can be extended (sending a message with an application is also charged), they are also automatically renewed once a month, but you can switch to a tariff without a monthly fee. You can change tariffs for free only five times, each subsequent change will cost 6 euros.

Incoming calls are free, but outgoing calls are possible only to European numbers. A message to a Russian number will cost 1.21 euros, or 86 rubles. For Spain, the rates are different. For multiple use of a SIM card, you need to register on the operator's website. If you do not replenish the balance regularly, the card will be deactivated.

    Sergei Yashin

    entrepreneur

I bought a SIM card from the Spanish operator Orange on the Euroroaming website. There was a promotion "10 euros - 5 gigabytes". Very comfortably. The card works in the EU countries, but in Serbia and Croatia we were without the Internet. I did not use calls, as a result, 20 euros (1,424 rubles) was enough for two months.

    Varvara Sergeeva

    entrepreneur

I purchased this card a year ago before my trip to Spain. I bought in St. Petersburg, in a travel company. I had a walking tour in the north of the country, along the path of Camino de Santiago, from the south of France through the Pyrenees to the west of Spain. I deposited 100 euros (7,120 rubles) into my account back in Russia, this money was enough for almost a two-month trip, Internet and telephone calls within Spain, and about 10–15 euros (712–1,068 rubles) remained. For communication with Russia, I had another SIM card, so I used Orange only for communication within the European Union. Included with it was a detailed instruction with tariffs in Russian.

The traditional tariffs of domestic mobile operators are characterized by rather expensive international roaming. When traveling abroad, subscribers are forced to use modifier options, which is also not always profitable. A reasonable alternative in this problem will be a tourist SIM card. Let's see what this SIM card is and what advantages it gives when traveling around foreign countries.

SIM cards for tourists and their features

Leaving Russia with an MTS, Beeline, MegaFon or Tele2 SIM card, we are forced to change tariff plans or use additional options. Otherwise, we are waiting for quite high rates for communication. But even additional options are unable to make communication more profitable. In this situation, a tourist SIM will save you from one of the well-known travel operators.

A tourist SIM card is a SIM card with a special tariff that allows you to make communication abroad more profitable. It independently registers in foreign cellular networks, providing subscribers with prices in accordance with the selected tariff plan. It makes no sense to go into technical subtleties - everything is complicated, but it works, and it works quite smoothly.

    Advantages of tourist SIM cards:

    • Low prices for calls within the host country.
    • Low prices for calls to Russia.
    • Inexpensive package or megabyte Internet.
    • No subscription fee.
    • Free incoming calls to most destinations.

Agree, not a single operator can offer this, although the Big Four still have profitable offers.

But tourist SIM cards have their drawbacks:

    • You will have to change the number or connect it to a tourist SIM card (the latter option leads to an increase in the cost of communication).
    • Floating rates due to exchange rates - they are presented in dollars or euros.
    • Tourist SIM cards have international numbers - dialing from Russia will be expensive (compensated by linking a Russian number).
    • A slightly different way of dialing numbers (USSD commands and the Callback system are often used).

In addition, there is information that communication with tourist SIM cards upsets with frequent failures.

    Offers from popular travel operators

In our review, we will consider offers from three operators - GLOBALSIM, Simtravel and GoodLine. Here we will find SIM cards for calls and the Internet, without monthly fees and with affordable prices. Which one to choose from is up to you. You can buy tourist SIM cards in almost all communication stores (for example, in Svyaznoy or Euroset).

    Sims from GLOBALSIM

GLOBALSIM provides SIM cards with European numbers that work in more than 200 countries around the world. There is no subscription fee, prices for outgoing and incoming calls in each country are fixed. In 140 countries, incoming calls are free. A round-the-clock support service is provided, speaking in Russian.

If you are looking for travel SIM cards for internet, GLOBALSIM will offer you cheap internet packages, both general and country-specific. Packages of minutes will help reduce the cost of calls, and subscribers are also offered free calls to Russian mobile numbers on Viber. You can check the cost of calls on the official website of the operator. The cost of a SIM card with a balance of 10 USD is only 750 rubles when purchased through the official online store.

GLOBALSIM tariff plans are presented on the official website of the company. Specify the country of destination and get information on tariffs.

    SIM cards Simtravel

Travel SIM cards from this operator will offer profitable roaming in almost 200 countries around the world. Subscribers are waiting for free incoming calls, there are no monthly payments. • Call forwarding.
    • Special internet packages for smartphones.
    • Special rates for Europe.
    • Call me service.
    • Preservation of Russian numbering.

An excellent solution for overseas trips.

    Simki GoodLine

Before us is one of the oldest and most famous tour operators. It provides subscribers with travel SIM cards. The cost of voice calls is from 3 rubles / min, the cost of Internet traffic - from 30 kopecks / Mb. Incoming in 144 countries is free, there are also special rates for Europe or the whole world. GoodLine SIM cards are suitable for traveling in Finland, Germany, France and other European countries, as well as for trips to other continents.

    Additional features:

    • Inexpensive Internet traffic packages (for example, 1 GB for 10 USD when you are in Turkey).
    • Linking your Russian number (a very interesting thing).
    • Free calls to Russia on Viber.
    • Special applications for more convenient calls.
    • Possibility to rent local numbers in some countries of the world.
    • Free calls to GoodLine numbers from the operator's website.

In our opinion, GoodLine is the segment leader.

It's time to compare all the travel sims with the internet that I use while traveling. I always need the Internet and a lot for work, so I know all the pros and cons. Last time, with your help, I collected and tested a lot of sims. I'm talking about 4 main sims in my collection: Spanish Orange, DrimSim, Tez, Globalsim.

I don’t use the Italian Vodafone anymore, because it’s expensive and it doesn’t give the Internet to a laptop.

There is no perfect sim. In some country one is better, in some another. So, let's compare.

The cheapest SIM card is Globalsim Direct, free delivery to many cities. It is also profitable - the entire amount remains on the balance sheet, delivery is free.

The cost of the first inclusion of the Internet

Let me explain. This is how much money you will spend on a SIM card and on activating an Internet traffic package from the moment of purchase to the first access to the Internet. For example, to start using Drimsim, you need to top up another €25! Other sims already have money on their balance.

    Orange€27
    dreamsim€35
    Tez Telecom€15
    $13

It turns out that if you need a SIM card for 1-2 trips, then it’s more profitable to take either Globalsim Direct and activate Europe Data for $3, but it’s more far-sighted to take it.

The cost of 1 gigabyte of Internet on minimal packages

The cost of the first minute of calls to Russia from Spain

    urbancellular
    Orange€0,47 €0,59
    dreamsim€0,3 €0,3
    TezNoNo
    globalsim$0,05 $0,29

The best way to call home is through Globalsim Direct. Personally, I call on the Internet through the application.

Now let's talk about the pros and cons of these cards.

    Orange ES

Everyone is scared off by an expensive starter package for €27 in Russia, but on the other hand €10 is on the account. Alternatively, if you go to Spain, then buy a SIM card there. It will cost €10-€15 there with €10 on your balance. If you are not going to Spain or do not want to bother, then in Russia.

    Minuses:

    1. A very inconvenient private office - everything is in Spanish, you can understand the hell without an interpreter. But there is a detailed instruction on what and how to set up on the site.
    2. It is impossible to replenish the account with a Russian bank card. I use intermediaries, for example, through . They say they are already taking it.

    Pros:

    1. In general, the quality of 4G internet throughout Europe is at its best.
    2. You can distribute the Internet from your phone to your laptop.
    3. The lowest prices for mobile Internet.

Roaming has been cancelled. House tariffs now apply throughout Europe:

    • 3Gb - €7
    • 7Gb - €10
    • 10Gb - €15

Now there is a promotion - all tariffs are tripled. I've listed prices with tripling. It doesn't get any better!

    dreamsim

    1. Convenient application - immediately shows how much a megabyte costs.
    2. You don't need to buy any packages.
    3. Payment per megabyte, which means that you do not overpay in advance for traffic.
    4. You can connect auto-replenishment of the balance from the card, but I do not advise.
    1. Everything is configured only through the application on the phone.
    2. The minimum deposit amount is €25.
    3. If the SIM card is not used for a whole year, they begin to write off € 0.5 per month.

How to order? Order by . Within 1-7 days it will be delivered to your home or mail.

    1. Works in 124 countries of the world
    2. Cheaper than roaming of national operators
    3. No subscription or hidden fees
    4. Ability to connect packages 3Gb, 5Gb, 10Gb
    5. SIM card and delivery for free! 15€ on card balance
    6. Good support via live chat
    1. The minimum balance replenishment amount is €15
    2. Cannot make or receive calls (use )
    3. Primitive personal account and no phone app

I think it's a great replacement for DrimSim and the incomprehensible Globalsim, as the entry threshold is lower. You pay only €15 and get a SIM card with the same balance and free shipping. You don't need to buy any Internet packages.

Globalsim have recently pulled up in prices, now their rates are no higher than others, and the starter package is the cheapest. Choose the package "1 MB for 1 cent". It has 1 cent per 1 MB for 1 year without limits. Activation cost - $3.

    1. Very good calls.
    2. Free inbox.
    3. Almost free sim
    4. Tolerable Internet prices.
    1. Poor private office.
    2. All tariff options are very confusing and are connected using USSD commands (a set of numbers on the phone).
    3. Very sad phone support.
    4. 4G not available everywhere

    Which sim to choose?

It all depends on the country you are going to. The most universal solutions for the Internet - super profitable card. For those who use the Internet very little, then - Tez Telecom. These are my favourites. I use one or the other. They have different rates in different countries.

If you travel to Europe several times a year, then it’s definitely worth buying, it will pay off already from the second trip and will serve you for many years. After canceling roaming in Europe, they have the best offer 1GB 3GB for €7.

P.S. An important addition about the Orange SIM card. After a total of 60 days of using the SIM card outside of Spain, a very favorable tariff is activated. Then you do not need to buy any packages, but simply use the Internet per megabyte at a favorable price - 0.0053 €/Mb. I think it is very convenient, and most importantly, you do not overpay for packages. To reset the period, it is enough to turn on the SIM card in Spain.
