• New referral program from Airbnb. How to rent exclusive apartments in greece and around the world for free

I have great news! Everyone knows that the Airbnb affiliate program has been closed for several years and it was only possible to receive signup bonuses and use them only to book accommodation within Airbnb. That is, you can’t withdraw money, and the bonus is one-time. Obviously, such cooperation is not particularly profitable, because bloggers did not receive any percentage for booking.

But now, in the Travelpayouts affiliate program aggregator, you can receive rewards directly for booking, and it doesn’t matter if the user is registered or not.

    Airbnb Partner Program at Travelpayouts

On April 28, 2016, Airbnb ceased cooperation with Travelpayouts and closed the affiliate program, having worked in total for no more than a year. Thus, Airbnb has thrown webmasters and bloggers for the 2nd time. All written content has not yet been redone for anything.

To be honest, I have been waiting for Airbnb to open access to their affiliate program for a long time. But the years went by, and they did nothing in this direction. The money that I have accumulated there is just waiting in the wings (booking, that is). It's great that now there is an opportunity to earn more directly on the bookings themselves, even if through an intermediary, and withdraw these funds.

Let me remind you that Travelpayouts is an affiliate program aggregator, the brainchild of Aviaseels. There are now about 20 of them, and not all of them could be directly cooperated with. You can register on mine, if there is no registration there yet.

Yes, they, as intermediaries, have their own commission, but in principle there are no other options. Either nothing, or work through an intermediary. I think it's great that you can now combine Airbnb's official "Invite Your Friends" affiliate program with the one offered by Travelpayouts. As an option, use one thing, now there is an alternative.

    Cookies 30 days.
The last cookie win model, as for all other affiliate programs in Travelpayouts
Remuneration from both registered (!) users and unregistered ones.

    How to use

I see that it is necessary to try to combine both affiliate programs. First, a person registers using your link and both of you get a $20 bonus. Everyone is fine. Next, you need this user to book a specific apartment using your link, then again everyone will be fine. The user will receive a verified accommodation, you will receive 40% of the booking commission.

Be careful with bonuses. If you drive a lot of traffic and receive a lot of bonuses, then Airbnb may ban your account, since invitation links, according to the rules, are only for personal and non-commercial use. A very strange and incomprehensible policy for me, but it is a fact, I have already received a warning. .

Of course, the described situation is ideal, but you can try to write your texts in such a way that such a scenario is executed. A logical question is how to make a link to a specific housing in the service? To do this, there is a link generator in your account. Just paste any link from Airbnb there and get the link that you need to post on the blog. In addition, there are search forms! Usually it is the forms that give a good conversion.

In this article: how to get when registering on Airbnb, promo codes, discount bonuses and useful life hacks for more profitable booking of apartments (rooms, houses) around the world.

Mainly for hotel search, apartments and hostels around the world, I now use Roomguru.ru - it gives options immediately from all major search engines (Booking, Agoda and others), which you can compare and choose the most profitable one. There are a lot of fresh reviews on Roomguru itself.

Airbnb- a site for renting housing around the world from owners. Here you either rent a room and live with locals in a family, or rent an entire apartment from them and live on your own. Now many hotels rent rooms through airbnb, but this is more expensive than through hotel services. You can also use airbnb hand over their accommodation to travelers from different countries.

The cost of housing on airbnb is generally more expensive than on services such as Booking, but in some countries it turns out to be convenient to use it. And for this you may need this information:

Airbnb signup bonus: how to get and use it

The first bonus which you can get on Airbnb - per booking. It is charged only when registering using a special promotional link:

The size of the signup bonus changes all the time, so don't be surprised if you follow the link and find a $24, $35, or $18 bonus. Unfortunately, this is impossible to predict.

Herself signing up for airbnb quite simple and fast, as well as searching, booking and renting your housing. Therefore, I will not describe this process in detail here, I will only remind you that in order to receive a bonus, you need to register using the bonus link, and not just through the main page of the site.

Take advantage of the bonus You can within a year from the date of registration, all this time it will be stored in your personal account.

The bonus is activated automatically when booking accommodation from $68 (although this figure can also change, but only slightly). In any case, when booking, this is immediately visible - when accruing, the bonus automatically appears in the "Coupon" column:

If the booking amount is less than $68, then the bonus will not be credited, but will remain until the next booking with a suitable amount.

Pros of Airbnb (for me personally):
    - the ability to pay for the reservation not only with a bank card, but also with PayPal,
-accommodation with the owners - you can communicate with local residents and learn about important and interesting places.
-Huge housing base and the ability to rent your own.

How to search for accommodation on Airbnb - important points and life hacks

Search filters on Airbnb are quite numerous and convenient. You can select and adjust through filters: price, geographical position (by reducing or enlarging the map of the area), the availability of the Internet, parking, kitchen, etc. You can also search for options by keywords and find apartments “with a workplace”, “cozy”, authentic and various others.

Rent a room On Airbnb sometimes it comes out much cheaper than the whole apartment.

Bargaining on Airbnb- especially for booking accommodation for a long time. With a preliminary correspondence, you can convince the owner of the property to change the price and send it to you in a special offer, or change the general one on the site. Or another option that I sometimes use:

Renting an apartment (room, house) for a month or more through Airbnb can be very profitable. You can request a reservation of accommodation for several days (a week), be sure to write in a message to the owner of the accommodation that you want to stay for a longer period (specify which one and make sure that this is possible) and offer you a discount on personal payment.

This method has important nuances: housing should not be too popular (there are options in great demand), the season in this place should not be high and, preferably, you should have at least some reviews on Airbnb. In any case, if this method does not work, you can simply bargain and get a discount when paying through the site itself.

Host Response Rate- an important indicator if you really liked the housing and the deadlines are running out. The higher this indicator (from 90%), the faster the host will answer you.

Should I trade contacts with an Airbnb host? It is not possible for you or the landlord to write your contacts in a message on this site. E-mail and phone numbers on this site are automatically hidden even in private messages, but if you really need to contact the owner in person, this is possible. For example, you can write your e-mail in full letters (myaddress dog mail zone ru) or try to encrypt the phone number in pieces (number plus seven, 701 two hundred and forty-four 08).

But it’s better to negotiate only through Airbnb, now there are enough opportunities to lower the price, etc., and it’s safer.

Rent out your home!- if you think that no one is interested in your house in the village or an apartment with Soviet furnishings in Khrushchev, then you are mistaken. For people from other countries, this is the exotic in travel. Just look at the trail. paragraph:

Interesting accommodation options through Airbnb I have collected here: - here among the options there are, for example, housing in old buses, on farms or a house with such a swing in Bali (the view is real!):

Rewards for inviting friends to Airbnb

After registration, you can start inviting your friends, passing them your bonus link already - in this way, both your friends and you already receive bonuses. The maximum bonus for each friend you refer is $100 ($25 for booking accommodation and $75 if your friend starts renting out accommodation to other travelers).

Bonuses for invited friends are accumulated in your personal account and then you can use them to pay for travel reservations.

    Current Airbnb promo codes

This is the most comprehensive list of $10 airbnb promo codes by city and country. There are no restrictions on the amount of the booking with such promotional codes. Some of them may not work, some may work for a neighboring country.

Conditions: Promo code can only be used once. Promo codes from 2016 only work for new users. While these are the latest promo codes, I will update as new information appears.

In their corporate blog about how they created referral programs for users, thereby hacking word of mouth.

Referral programs are often used to recruit audiences, but at Airbnb, our legacy system was not used by users and did not work well. It was difficult to find it on the site, and it was not available on mobile applications at all. We want to tell you how we increased registrations and bookings by 300% per day with the referral program.

Word of mouth is a great source of growth at Airbnb, also because the Airbnb experience is very intimate. People use Airbnb to experience incredible experiences - trips with friends, cultural exchanges, and even unique experiences like honeymoons. Our referral program rewards $25 for inviting friends. They are received by both the inviter and the invitee when the referred user pays for their first booking through Airbnb. Our idea was simple - to increase the number of people who tell their friends about Airbnb and amplify this effect.

We have decided to relaunch the referral program across all of our three platforms: website, iOS and Andoird apps. We have also decided to support the activation and distribution of referral codes on all three platforms. Only a few applications allow you to activate referral codes on mobile devices, despite the fact that a significant proportion of e-mail is read from mobile devices. The referral program is a cool project because it is the epitome of growth. It is easy to measure and scale. You need to recognize the right moment when the user is ready to send an invitation, and strengthen this desire.

    Step 1. Define the rules

Before writing at least one line of code, we determined for ourselves how we would consider the success of our undertaking. In this game, data is critical, so we started by choosing a few metrics.

For our referral program, we defined success as passing the funnel:

    • number of users per month who sent invitations,
    • number of invitations sent per person,
    • conversion to logged in users,
    • conversion in those who rented housing,
    • conversion in those who rented housing.

For each metric, we made three different predictions:

    • good,
    • better
    • the best.

We based our predictions on how we thought our old abandoned referral program would perform if given a second chance. We also looked at other successful referral programs like Dropbox and Voxer.

    Step 2. Learning to count

Before writing even a single line of code, we developed mechanisms to track our progress and build reports. At Airbnb we have our own logging platform called air_events. With it, we can call the same method from any of our platforms and log events in a centralized repository. We have created libraries for all our needs: Ruby (for backend), JS (for frontend), Objective C (for iOS) and Java (for Android).

For the referral program, we have defined more than 20 events that occur during the invitation of users and subsequent registration. With this tracking, we will be able to track the entire invitation process - from the number of times the invitation page was opened to the number of users who booked or hosted a property. We have fully logged the behavior on iOS, Android and the website within these events. Thanks to this, we could easily build charts and compare the same metrics across all platforms.

What helped us a lot in this step of "Learning to count" was the structure of the engineering team. Each team has an attached analyst. Our team analyst Won Kuas developed the classification and approaches. He also created dashboards and charts so we can track progress from day one.

Step 3. We wrote the code

Airbnb has a cool practice when a team rents an apartment next to the office on Airbnb for a few days and works there. To develop a referral program, we rented two apartments near San Francisco.

We developed web, iOS and Android at the same time. Two of our developers wanted to learn iOS and Android, so they took on this project. The core mobile development team also helped by sending their own developers to work on this project. At Airbnb, we educate developers on the new technologies they are interested in and give them the opportunity to develop with experienced mentors. It was cool to upgrade new “skills” while working on a real product.

At the same time, we thought through several product solutions.

    Personal referral codes

We thought that with personal codes and links, our letters would be more personal.

When the user launches the application after installation, he gets to a special landing page of the referral program.

One of our developers, Jimmy Tang, co-founded Yoz.io where he developed analytics tools for mobile devices. Yoz.io has created a tool that keeps track of which link the user clicked on before installing the application with a fairly high accuracy. In this way, we can determine that the user has installed the application through a referral link, and open the corresponding screen for him on the first launch.

When a user clicks on a link, Yoz.io remembers it. Then, when the user downloads and launches the app, it detects the user again and matches them with the person who clicked the link. Next, it sends information to the application, so you can show the corresponding screen.

You can see the result right now. If you download the Airbnb app, you will see this screen when you launch it:

    Step 4 Let's go!

    We started.

As a result, referral programs increased bookings by 25% in selected markets!

Since we developed dashboards in advance, we were able to see how users interacted with our brainchild on the day of launch. It was great to see our impact from day one.

We can create additional leverage to try and improve each of our key metrics that we identified in the first step. For example:

    • we can increase the number of invitations per inviter by offering to import an e-mail list from a notebook or mail services,
    • we can increase the proportion of active users who send out invitations by improving the visibility of the referral program in our services,
    • we can increase the conversion to new guests by allowing you to send a reminder to those who were sent an invitation and those who signed up but did not use the gift $25.

    Step 5. Improve

A few months have passed since the launch of the new referral program. This time we didn't want to run and forget our referral program. On the contrary, we came up with new ways to improve it. For example, we started advertising the referral program at the moment when the user is most likely to invite friends. For example, after making a reservation or after leaving a positive review. We segment data by entry point, so we know when is the best time to do so.

We are also in the process of A/B testing promo emails. One experiment fascinated me because we talked about two different values of the same product. In one email, we emphasized that you could earn $25 for referring a friend (self-interest). In another letter, we emphasized that you would give $25 to your friend (altruism).

Hello, dear readers, today's topic on Grekoblog is how you can rent exclusive apartments in Greece, Italy, and anywhere else for free. Or at least much cheaper. The best part is that you don’t need any special knowledge, you don’t need a website, and you don’t need to sell anything to anyone. Everything is simple, and the result is felt immediately.

What is very important!!! I urge you to first read the article to the end, and then take some action. Why? Because in the article you will find a SIGNIFICANT, pleasant and, most importantly, FREE gift, and I will tell you how to get it INSTANTLY. When I myself first learned about this possibility, I hurried to check everything myself and, as a result, I myself lost the gift. Because of this, I had to go through the whole process again, and this is not very pleasant.

So, one day I accidentally ran into the Airbnb rental service, or rather, its affiliate program. Who does not know what it is, I will tell you in a nutshell. Airbnb is a very successful company of very creative guys from San Francisco. They have created a simply amazing service that allows travelers to easily and comfortably rent accommodation around the world.

As I write this article, the number of cities on the planet where you can rent accommodation using AirBnb has already exceeded 34,000, and the number of booked nights has already exceeded 2 million!!!

All the nuances of the lease are so thought out that for this alone they can be erected a monument. But the most important thing is the base. Not only is the number of objects going off scale, but there are simply amazing ones. For example, a luxurious houseboat or a real building made of ice, where you can stay like in a hotel. There are also many ordinary apartments at a very bargain price. In general, for every taste and budget. Although I didn't originally plan on filming anything, I was sucked into this site for two days that I spent just looking at the outlandish designs. If you're getting ready to renovate, then Airbnb is a treasure trove of ideas. But we digress.

Of course, no one bothers you right now to go and check everything yourself. But I urge you to show a little more patience, because, firstly, I will tell you how to get an instant deposit to your Airbnb “account” in the amount of $25, which you can use on your next trip, and secondly, I will tell you how to save money on travel housing in the future, thanks to the AirBnb affiliate program.

Airbnb Partner Program: How to Earn Rewards and Use Them While Traveling

So, if you register with Airbnb using THIS LINK, you will immediately receive $25 in your account, thanks to which you will be able to reduce your housing costs by these same $25 already on your next trip.

Registration does not obligate you to anything. You can just stare at mega-design apartments around the world, close the resource and never use it again. There is no charge for registration or viewing! Or maybe you like something and you want to stay there. You choose. In this case, your costs will be $25 less*.

Someone might think that I am cashing in on this recommendation ... To be honest, when I first read this info on the bourgeois Internet, I myself decided that way. I thought: “You won’t fool me, why should I register using the link.” Went to Airbnb, appreciated that it was interesting, and signed up on my own. As a result, I lost my $25 bonus dollars… And all because I signed up not through an affiliate link, but on my own.

What is it? But do not rush to register yet. Now I will tell you how you can definitely save $50 and even more.

So, about the guaranteed savings of $50. Everything is simple. I don't know about you, but I rarely travel by myself. More often with friends, a beloved or not very beloved girl, work colleagues, etc. So. After you sign up for Airbnb using our affiliate link, you will also be able to invite friends. And EACH of them who register on the service will also receive + $ 25 to their Airbnb account instantly. In other words, you recommend a great service to your friends, and they also get a bonus in addition. In general, get ready to receive gratitude!

Now, let's imagine that you two went to, say, Greece. You have a $25 bonus in your account and so does your friend. Thus, if you rent the same (or different) apartments within the same trip, then everyone will be able to reduce their price by their “deposit” $25. Or a net savings of $50 for two.

    Another reason to invite friends

But this is NOT ALL! The surprises are just beginning. Your link will still work for you for a long time, bringing dividends in the future. How? Everything is very simple! In this case, two types of these same DIVIDENDS are possible!

Situation 1. Friends travel, renting accommodation, and you receive dividends

For example, a friend registered using your link, but went on a trip on their own. If he books an apartment through Airbnb for more than $75 and pays for it, you will receive another $25 in your “account”, which, again, you can use on your trip! And if you invited 2 such friends? Or maybe 3. Or maybe all 10? Your chances of getting "free vacation accommodation" go up by leaps and bounds depending on how many people you signed up for. And the possibilities are endless!!!

It is important to add that the “lifetime” of these dividends is 1 year. That is, if, say, 3 of your friends went, having booked and paid for accommodation through Airbnb according to the terms of the program, then you will receive $ 75 ($ 25 for each) to your “account”. You will be able to use these same $75 within a year or they will be cancelled. But a whole year, you see, is quite a long time.

At the same time, the cost of housing for your friends is not affected by the fact whether they registered on their own or on your recommendation. That is, to prevaricate, offering to register - DO NOT HAVE TO !!! On the contrary, by signing up through you, a friend can save $25 instantly.

Situation 2. A friend decided to rent out housing himself, and you receive dividends

There is one more opportunity to get bonuses. For example, after getting acquainted with the service, a friend himself decides to rent out his apartment. It's great too. He will be able to earn on his empty apartment, and you will receive your dividends for the recommendation. After all, when he rents out real estate for the first time according to the terms of the program, you will receive $ 75 of your dividends, which, again, you can spend on renting housing on your own trip. And good for you and friend.

Is it worth adding that you will receive your money NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF A FRIEND!!! His terms of participation in the service WILL NOT CHANGE in ANY WAY depending on whether he registers himself or through you. But if through you, then he has everything, like other participants in the service, and you have the potential to earn $75 for your trip.

Thus, each new member of the service you invite can bring you up to $100, which you can spend on YOUR trip.

Register on Airbnb and get your $25 to your "account" in the You service.

When you register, you will see this confirmation of the right to receive a discount

In the meantime, I'll tell you HOW to invite friends so that both THEM and YOU get bonuses!

How to Invite Friends to Airbnb So They Get $25 in Their Account and You Get Dividend Opportunities

When you register and confirm your email address, you will be able to invite friends inside the service! This opportunity appears thanks to the link with your unique code, which Airbnb itself offers you to place in 3 ways:

The message that the system will generate for you looks like this:

And your friend will see this when he clicks on the link that you sent him

As I said, the system itself will generate a link in your account for you. You just need to copy or cut it and send it to your friends, adding a few words about the service itself, so that they understand what it is about and what is the benefit for them. That's all! As soon as friends register, you will see their activity in the system and wait for your "dividends".

    EVERYTHING IS SIMPLE!

The system remembers all payment bookings and adds them to your account.

And to be inspired by the service, you just need to look at the options where you want to go once. Here, for example, is a preview from a small house in Santorini:

Well, you can read the details of the conditions of the program already in the service itself.

    Register, invite friends and travel

*Please check Airbnb for details and the most up-to-date version of the partner program terms.

Today we have a non-standard article, since it will not be about our wonderful travels, but about the possibilities of making money on the blog. This topic is always relevant for those who blog or are just about to start. Our site is almost 6 years old, during this time I have tried dozens of travel blog monetization options and was able to highlight, in my opinion, the best of them.

There are many ways to make money blogging about travel. Some of them are suitable for most sites of other subjects, and some options work only on travel blogs. The following are the main opportunities for making money on a blog about tourism:

    • Travel affiliate programs
    • contextual advertising
    • Advertising posts
    • Banners, Nolix line, selling links
    • Own services
    • Online stores of related products

For our site, the best ways to make money on travel traffic today are travel affiliate programs, contextual advertising and advertising posts. The other options either haven't developed yet or they just haven't gone on this blog. Next, I will talk in more detail about each method of earning money and our experience with them.

    Travel affiliate programs

    Flights
Perhaps the most popular type of income from travel blogs is an affiliate program for air tickets.

Indeed, since the blog is about travel, why not place a widget to search for flights on it? And it is convenient for readers and you feel good. The booking commission is charged not at the expense of the buyer, but at the expense of the ticketing agency. In addition, you can buy tickets yourself using your affiliate link. We always do this. Here are some affiliate programs for airline tickets:

    • Aviasales— the most popular affiliate program, used by 90% of travel blogs. Withdrawal from 500 rubles to Yandex.Money or Webmoney. Cookies 30 days.
    • skyscanner is a less popular affiliate program due to a complex earning scheme and a terrible admin panel. Earnings are lower than in other systems due to the fact that the commission is for transitions, and not for reservations. Withdrawal from 1500 rubles to Yandex.Money, Webmoney or Payoneer card. Cookies for 30 days. Before you withdraw money, you may be banned, saying that you cheated yourself with clicks. So I do not recommend the Skyscanner affiliate program.
    • Kupibilet- good commission - 2% of the cost of air tickets. Withdrawal 2 times a week from 100 rubles to Webmoney.
    • Buruki is a relatively new flight search engine. Withdrawal from 100 rubles to Yandex.Money or Webmoney. Nice friendly interface. Cookies last 30 days.

We work with an affiliate program Aviasales (Travelpayouts), since we ourselves use this site and the conditions for withdrawing money are normal. In addition, advertising in the media contributes to brand recognition among visitors.

    Earnings on Aviasales

Of the disadvantages of such affiliate programs - the commissions are minimal. Sometimes it’s just funny that someone buys tickets for 50 thousand rubles using your link, and only 300 rubles are charged for it. Many bloggers specially expose screenshots with ten thousand earnings so that more people register in the affiliate program using their link. But in fact, earnings will be very modest, especially at first. To make money on air tickets, you need targeted traffic. Moreover, traffic in expensive directions, otherwise it may be the same as in the following screenshot:

How much can you earn from the sale of 17 tickets. Are you weak?

    Hotels
An equally important moment in travel is booking hotels.

You can make money on hotel booking affiliate programs very well. However, this does not work for all blogs. To book, you need articles with selections of hotels. The booking reward is paid after the guest moves out. Several partner programs for hotels:

For us, the Booking partner is the best for hotels.

AirBnb Affiliate Program [CURRENTLY OUT OF SERVICE]
Rental housing abroad: rooms, apartments, houses, villas.

As such, there is no AirBnb affiliate program to work with them directly. Until recently, the only way to work with Airbnb was to place a banner with a $25 coupon. If someone registered using your link, and then booked a place for himself for a certain amount, then you and he will receive 25 bucks. But money from Airbnb cannot be withdrawn in any way, it can only be spent on booking accommodation on AirBnb itself. Probably, it is convenient for someone, but we, for example, have never booked through this site.

Since February 2015, Airbnb has been added to Travelpayouts affiliate program. To participate in the affiliate program, register in the Travelpayouts system, then click Campaigns -> All -> AirBnb. All conditions for payments, as in Aviasales. Money accumulates on a common account, which is very convenient. The AirBnb affiliate program is showing great results on our blog. Standard ways to make money blogging

You can also monetize a travel blog in the usual ways of making money on blogs. Why not, a travel blog is no worse than some SEO blog. The higher and better the attendance, the greater the income.

    • Google Adsense— the most popular and profitable contextual advertising. There are no requirements for the site, except for prohibited content. Inconvenient payout system from $100, requires identification through the Rapida money transfer system. Can be banned permanently without explanation.
    • Yandex Direct- the second most popular system. Earnings are about 2 times lower than in Adsense. Withdrawal from 3000 rubles to Yandex.money. Site requirements: at least 500 visitors per day. As a rule, they do not accept the first time, the next time you can send an application only after a month. We were accepted from the third.
    • Runner- used to be a good system, now deteriorated. Ads are shown irrelevant and untargeted. That is, some auto parts can be advertised on a travel blog. Site requirements: from 100 visitors, but it can be used on free hosting from 500 visitors. Reviews on the Internet are only bad, payments are delayed for months. The minimum amount is 1500 rubles for Yandex Money. We had 3-4 months, and the money did not accumulate. In general, tin, I do not advise.
    • Magna [CURRENTLY OUT OF WORK] is an alternative to more established systems. Payments from 10 rubles. Minimum blog traffic: 1000 people. Ads look like in Yandex Direct. I once put their ads for several days, they called 100 rubles. Then I decided to test the withdrawal of funds, the money was transferred to WebMoney, but with a delay of one and a half months.
    • Advertiser- Something between banners and contextual advertising. Pay per impressions and per clicks. From 1000 impressions about 5 rubles. The cost of a click is 3-10 rubles. Withdrawal to e-wallets.

    Banners
You can sell blog banners on your own or automated

We initially decided that we would not sell links and posts from this blog. However, most bloggers also earn a pretty penny from this. You can sell single links yourself in personal correspondence, and in order to put sales on stream, you will need to register on the following services:

    • Gogetlinks
    • Rotapost
    • Sape

To make money selling links, you need TIC 10 or higher

An advertiser approaches you with an offer to place an article for money with a link to his site. You either agree or you don't. Usually, advertisers rarely get to your blog, so you either have to look for them yourself and offer to post or register on the Blogun service.

    • Blogun- register, set prices and wait for orders. Site requirements: TIC 10 and above. We withdraw money on WebMoney with a commission of 15%.
    • Nolix- after registration, copy the code and post it through the templates on the blog. It can be difficult to adapt to your template. Then set the price, for example $1 per 1000 impressions. Payment is charged for the purchase of ads by your users. Withdrawal from $20 to WebMoney.

    Hosting partner
We don’t use it at home, but many bloggers put a hosting referral link in the footer of the site and earn something from it

    • Makhost— You can earn up to 40% of the payments of those who register using your link. Money can be withdrawn to WebMoney from 1500 rubles or to pay for services.
    • timeweb- 40% of referral payments can be withdrawn to WebMoney, you need to conclude an agreement in paper form.
    • Beget- 40% of referral payments, but in order to participate in the affiliate program, you need to buy hosting from them yourself. You can withdraw funds either to a current account or use it to pay for your hosting.

    Online shopping

You can make money on a travel blog with the help of online stores of related products. It all depends on your blog. For example, hiking gear, backpacks, and tents are great for hiking blogs. On a blog about life in Thailand, you can offer products from a Thai cosmetics store. You can also try to advertise all sorts of gadgets you need while traveling. Examples of such stores:

    • Admitad- this affiliate program contains dozens of different online stores. Just choose the most suitable for your topic and advertise.

Earnings on the provision of services

Many travel bloggers make money from their blog by providing various services to readers. For example, they make routes, help buy tickets or find accommodation. You can conduct paid Skype consultations, where you answer all questions in a live conversation. Of course, you can find any information on the Internet yourself, but it’s easier for someone to order a paid consultation from knowledgeable people so as not to waste their time. Also, if you live for a long time in one country, then why not conduct excursions for readers? For example, our friends in Pattaya do just that, they feel good and the readers are happy.

    • Advantages: this type of income is better than working in an office
    • Disadvantages: it takes a lot of time, you need a normal Internet connection for Skype consultations, you may not pay for the consultation (require 100% prepayment)

    Direct cooperation as an affiliate

Another profitable way to monetize a travel blog. The bottom line is that you negotiate in correspondence or documents with some company or individuals who provide services to tourists. You advertise their services on your blog or write that, for example, you can apply for a visa on your own, and in order to avoid hassle, we can advise you to contact one company where you will be taken everywhere “by the hand” and everything will be fine. Thus, you get the contacts of the interested person and transfer them to the company with which you agreed to cooperate. If this person uses their services, the firm will transfer you a percentage.

    • Advantages: passive income from the blog, minimum effort.
    • Disadvantages and risks: the firm may not pay by lying that the client is not interested. The company can throw that person, which will negatively affect you, because you advised you to contact the company where he was bred.

    conclusions

Perhaps I will end here. As you can see, you can make money on a travel blog no worse than on any other website. Especially if you approach the issue of blog monetization wisely and in all seriousness. It is believed that if you want to make money on a blog, you need to treat it like a business. The main thing here is to learn how to combine business with pleasure - write articles for the soul and earn. Bloggers rarely do this, usually one or the other. Few people can write reference articles with keywords, and readers are not interested in this either. Well, you need to come up with something, otherwise you won’t see earnings from the blog.

As a rule, most travel blogs earn little or nothing because they write unoptimized articles and have a bunch of technical errors on the site. As a result, there are a lot of articles, and the attendance is 100-200 people, and the profit is only enough for hosting. Here are 10 simple tips to fix the situation:

    1. Optimize all old and new posts with keywords. It's a shame that not our detailed reviews with author's photos hang in the tops of search engines, but optimized articles of travel portals that were written by copywriters who have never been to the country. Use to select keywords wordstat.yandex.ru
    2. Do not bother increasing the TIC and PR. If you are not going to sell links from the blog, then forget about the TIC altogether, there is no sense in it, it will grow over time.
    3. Do not order any catalog runs and do not register your site in directories yourself to receive a link. For this, drive your blog under the filters. You can register only in a few main directories: Yandex, dmoz, mail, rambler.
    4. Fix all technical errors: first of all, get rid of duplicate replytocom. When I cleaned out these duplicates, traffic increased 3 times in a month!
    5. Speed up your blog with the Hyper Cache plugin. Just read how to set it up correctly.
    6. Reduce photos before uploading to an article. Size the photo to the width of the content, not 2048x1536. In addition, in Photoshop, click not "Save As", but "Save for Web and Devices". Set the compression to 55-60 there. All this will reduce the size of the photo and speed up the blog.
    7. Do not put contextual advertising on a young blog and do not sell links. At least until 6-8 months.
    8. If you use the WP-NoExternalLinks plugin, delete it soon before you get banned for a mass redirect.
    9. Get and identify e-wallets Yandex Money and Webmoney. I identified Yandex through the Euroset, and in WebMoney I received a formal certificate through Unistream money transfers.
    10. Take care of your readers, increase your subscription base, encourage commenting. All this improves behavioral factors, which are now becoming more important than SEO optimization.

    blogging secrets

I also recommend going through the paid video course Cyber-Blogger if you want to learn how to make good money blogging. Everything is lined up in the course. The course costs money, but this investment will pay off with a blog in the first months.

Attention! Only until the new year you can buy this course with a 50% discount! Just enter promo code NEW-YEAR

If you want to participate in the affiliate program of this video course, then you can register here, but keep in mind that it will most likely have no effect on travel blogs. Better use on thematic sites.

I will periodically supplement and update the article, as something new appears. I would be grateful if you share in the comments your experience of making money on a travel blog, what works well for you, what does not work very well. Maybe there's something I didn't mention?

By the way, I didn’t write about partner programs for excursions, but we don’t use them, because it’s not very clear who buys this at all, when you can always take any excursions on the spot and they will cost less.

I also didn’t write about partner programs for buying tours, because I doubt that in the current situation, someone will buy a ticket via the Internet in a little-known company.
